Muscongus Bay Lobster Company is a family owned and operated wholesale and retail Maine lobster business. We are located on scenic Round Pond Harbor in Round Pond, Maine.
Round Pond, a traditional lobster fishing village, located in beautiful mid-coast Maine, offers everything from lobster to antiques, general stores to a blacksmith. Muscongus Bay is one of the most scenic and productive lobster fishing areas in Maine.
At Muscongus Bay Lobster, we operate a buying station, purchasing lobster from fishermen on a daily basis. We also provide bait, gas and diesel fuel to fishermen and boaters. On the other end of the pier, we operate a retail lobster restaurant from May through October. You can sit at one of our many picnic tables and eat the finest and highest quality lobster and shellfish while taking in the sights and sounds of Round Pond Harbor.
The retail operation is traditional and simple while providing excellent quality and service. We serve various shore dinners with lobster, clams, corn and butter. Lobster and clams, by the pound, live or cooked, are also available as are locally farmed oysters on the half shell and the finest lobster and crab rolls, made fresh to order.

Take Your Pick of Lobsters

The highest quality lobsters are personally graded off of the daily catch by the owner to provide the freshest lobsters on the Maine coast. At the open air restaurant, you can personally select your own lobsters from our bottomless tanks. We specialize in high quality soft shells, locally farmed oysters, locally dug soft shell clams, and fresh, locally grown sweet Maine corn.
Muscongus Bay is also available for events such as family reunions, large parties, or rehearsal dinners. Muscongus Bay Lobster Company is a BYOB operation, so bring a bottle of wine, bring some beer, bring your friends and plan on having the best lobster on the Maine coast.
